mmmmmmm Pork Chops, drrrrrrroooooooolllllllllll!

Channeled my inner Homer Simpson last night, who BTW might be the best television character ever.  I made pan seared pork chops with a mustard green salad and parmesan noodles.

Everything prepped and ready to go.  Egg noodles, mustard greens, olive oil, salt, pepper, chicken broth, bread crumbs, a tomato garlic mixture, a mixture of heavy cream, butter, nutmeg, parmesan, and cayenne, and then the star of the show a pork chop.

The breadcrumbs were toasted in a bit of olive oil.

The pork chops was dusted in flour and then pan fried in some olive oil and then placed in a 300 degree oven for 2-3 minutes.

The finished pork chop.

The mustard greens got blanched in a pot of boiling water then placed in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.

After cooking the pork chop, the tomato and garlic went into the pan along with the chicken broth for a couple minutes.  Then the greens were added and finally the pork chop to meld everything.

After cooking the noodles until tender, the cream mixture went in to coat.

I'll admit it's a terribly sloppy plate, one that I'm not proud of at all, but the food was freaking delicious.
