Pork Chops

This was a fun dish to make and really really simple.  Pan seared pork chop with an Asian glaze.

Here's everything you need for the entire dish.  Pork chop, sesame seeds, rice vinegar, mirin (rice wine), brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger and oranges.

All the ingredients except for the sesame seeds and the sesame oil were combined together to create the base for the glaze.

Then I seasoned up the pork chop and seared it off on the stove.

It also spent about 10 minutes in a 300 degree oven to finish cooking.  This is what it looked like after coming out of the oven.

Once the chop was finished the glaze ingredients went into t he pan to reduce, which took about 10 minutes.  At the very end the glaze was finished with a bit of sesame oil.

While the glaze was reducing I toasted off the sesame seeds.

This was the final result.
